Nā Hoa o Puna Soccer Club

Founded by Coach Buddy Perry for the youth of East Hawaiʻi in 2009, Nā Hoa o Puna Soccer Club is the oldest soccer club on Hawaiʻi island. Nā Hoa= Friends, Nā Hoa o Puna=Friends of Puna. We are comprised of volunteer coaches, staff, and board members who believe in the power of community.

Hālau I Ka Leo Ola O Nā Mamo

He mau kamaliʻi, ʻōpio, mākua a kūpuna paha e ʻiʻini ana e aʻo i ka hula, nā mele, a me kekahi mau ʻike o nā kūpuna Hawaiʻi ma o ka ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi. (We are comprised of children, teens, parents, and elders who are dedicated to perpetuating the knowledge, dances, and chants passed on to us by our ancestors through the medium of the Hawaiian language.)

Chicas Soccer Club

Developing competitive female soccer teams on Hawaiʻi island for over a decade. Chicas are competitive on and off the pitch but more importantly, become lifelong friends, strategic thinkers, and remain physically fit.

NO NĀ ʻŌPIO:

No Nā ʻŌpio translates to mean “for the youth.” Our non-profit organization is dedicated to the youth of Hawaiʻi. We aim to provide opportunities and environments that foster physical, spiritual and cognitive development through participation in recreational and cultural practices. The partners that carry out our mission are Nā Hoa o Puna Soccer Club, Chicas Hawaiʻi Soccer, and Hālau I Ka Leo Ola O Nā Mamo.
